At the beginning of the Christmas party, President Wang delivered a speech saying,”Christmas is one of the most unforgettable memories of students while studying in Tunghai. The purpose of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, and I’m very grateful to know Jesus and be baptized during my school days in Tunghai. Jesus Christ is the light of life and also the truth and life itself. Through knowing Jesus Christ, He guides our way in all aspects. This has helped me a lot in my life, so I encourage everyone to learn more about Jesus Christ while studying in Tunghai, and subsequently believing in faith will result in fruitfulness. Our Chaplain’s Office organizes many activities for everyone to know about Jesus Chirst, our friend of truth. Finally, I would like to thank our Chief International Officer, Deputy Chief International Officer, and staff members of the Office of International Relations for taking care of the students and arranging this event. I wish for a smooth end of this event and for everyone to enjoy today’s Christmas Party. Merry Christmas!” This was followed by Pastor David delivering a Christmas blessing, giving thanks that even during the pandmic, being an able to celebrate the holiday with our families, we still have each other to share the warmth.
