Mr. Song-Ping Chen, CEO of Hoa Kang Fire Protection Co., introduced the innovative operation model of his company where aesthetics was incorporated into fire protection systems. Chen took the company’s design department as an example to demonstrate the importance of software skills and professional certificates. He also encouraged the students to participate in student associations and clubs and to work as a cadre member to develop their soft power. Mr. Chen said that continual accumulation of soft as well as hard power in all stages of life will make a talent favorable to corporations.

Ms. Hsiao-Chuan Huang, Assistant Manager of Human Resource of Ding Ding Integrated Marketing Service Co. of the Far Eastern Group, introduced the operation model of her company and shared the experience of digitization of HAPPY GO and its branding and marketing. Ms. Huang emphasized that organizational culture represents corporate value and conducted a value-finding activity at the end of her presentation. She encouraged the students to identify their own value orientation and build personal characteristics to fit in their target positions in the job market.

Mr. Hsin-Ren Lan, former Vice General Manager of Security Finance of Taiwan Cooperative Securities, shared his personal journal in finding career direction and setting up a goal, followed by explaining the status of finance consultancy industry with exhaustive data and charts. Mr. Lan pointed out that foreign language and passion are the essential skills required in the finance industry.

Mr. Hong-Lin Hu, Vice Marketing Director of Victor Taichung, introduced the environment and organization of the company before sharing his personal career exploration experience. He recommended the students to find their right jobs after trying various possibilities and understanding personal preferences. Mr. Hu concluded his presentation with a career SWOT analysis activity for the students and encourage them to revisit the analysis on a 6-month basis.
